De Viral Hepatitis Prevention Coordinator (VHPC) levert de technische expertise die nodig is voor het management en de coördinatie van activiteiten gericht op de preventie van virale hepatitis infecties en de integratie van virale hepatitis preventiediensten in gezondheidszorgomgevingen en volksgezondheidsprogramma’s (bijv, SOA, HIV, immunisatie, correctionele gezondheidszorg, behandeling van drugsmisbruik, spuitomruil) die volwassenen bedienen die risico lopen op virale hepatitis.
